  • Store Information: Your Shopify store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com) and store settings.
  • Contact Information: Information you provide when you contact us for support or other inquiries.

Information from Your Store's Data (via Shopify API)

To provide our services, we access data from your store via the Shopify API. This includes:

  • Product Information: Product titles, descriptions, images, prices, variants, tags, and inventory levels to power our search and filtering capabilities.
  • Collection Information: Data about your product collections to help organize search results.
  • Order & Customer Information: Data about orders and customers to train our personalization and recommendation models. This helps us suggest relevant products to your customers.

Information from Your Customers (End-Users)

When customers visit your store with our App installed, we automatically collect information about their interaction to provide our services:

  • Device and Browser Information: IP address, browser type, and operating system.
  • Interaction Data: Search queries they enter, products they view, products they click on, and products they add to their cart.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use a first-party cookie to assign a unique, anonymous identifier (`user_id`) to visitors to provide a consistent, personalized experience across sessions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: To operate our search, filtering, and recommendation features on your storefront.
  • To Provide Analytics: To show you analytics and insights about search performance and customer behavior within your MerchantMind dashboard.
  • To Improve Our App: To understand how our App is being used, to improve our AI models, and to develop new features.
  • To Communicate With You: To send you service updates, respond to support requests, and provide other administrative information.
  • For Billing: To manage your subscription and process payments.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information under the following limited circumstances:
